Why Papua New Guinea?

Hello, friends. Well, I never thought I would become a blogger in the first place, but now I have two blogs! I started the first one (http://misskwright.blogspot.com) upon the advisement of Dr. Tatlock. He suggested that I blog in order to keep people updated on missions status in my life. After much thought, I did. And the first blog went well. In fact, it’s still going well. But I have been using it for regular blogging. I guess I just have profound things to say that the world should know. Yea, right. I really don’t know why I have the other blog since my personal life has taken over the PNG part of it. I’ll have to write more about that on the other one.

But for the time being, I want to dedicate this blog solely to PNG and what is going on there. I have applied to New Tribes Mission for their summer Interface program, and I got in. I will be in PNG for as long as the visa allows, which is a grand 58 days total. After the first part at Interface, I will either remain on base at Wewak or live with a career missionary family in the tribes. This is still in the planning stages, so I will keep you updated as time allows. Please pray that my heart will be content in not knowing the definite plans for the trip once the first six weeks on base is over.

As for the rest of it, there will be more to follow. I will continue to post updates as they come to me as well as prayer requests. Thank you to all. May the Lord bless you richly for your service.
